I've also had experience in case whereby by the both friends are in serious relationship with someone else thus there is a 40% possibility of no strings attached but could be dangerous cos mistakes or circumstances may occur.

Once two best friends engaged in sexual trust me that friendship is dead and can never be rebuild.

Put me for example, am in a serious relationship but have a childhood friend whom we've shared almost everything in common. She's the opposite sex.
Now fact that am in a serious relationship and she is also in a serious relationship best thing for us is to reduce our closeness for the sake or saving our own relationship with our partner. No lady will wanna see her man close to another lady than her even if the lady is his sister likewise the guy. So to save your own relationship there must be a limit.
